ACMI Sub-Charter

One of Wings 24’s core services is round the clock expertise on ACMI and last-minute sub-charter operations worldwide and the company was immediately called upon to demonstrate its skills.

Just four hours after the official launch of Wings 24 the team confirmed its first booking - a sub-charter operation from Düsseldorf (DUS), Germany, to Luanda (LAD) in Angola. An MD-83 aircraft was quickly drafted in from Paris-based charter airline Blue Line to fly 70 exchange students to the Angolan capital after another airline’s aircraft experienced
a longer than forecast maintenance check.

Wings 24 assists airlines in immediately finding a subcharteraircraft to continue operating their flight programmes – helping them to maintain punctuality and customer
service levels.

Outsourced flight support
